leanstartupcircle.com — Lean Startup Circle describles itself as being for "Peer-to-Peer lean startup know how.  It's a decentralized grassroots organization of Lean Startup practitioners all over the world". I went to this homebage and entered my email as requested, thinking that was just the first step and there would be additional information required.  Instead, I was immediately enrolled in a Google Group and informed that I would be receiving an email once a week from them.   The Google Group does look moderated, and the questions to seem serious and thoughtful so while I didn't care for the way they got my email, this aay be worth visiting from time to time - especially if anything in their weekly archive email is of interest.

biznik.com — This still comes up on some "top ten" lists of places for entrepreneurs to connect online, so I decided to give it a shot.   The registration system is a little challenging, but that indicates it is a serious site.   What I didn't care for, at least at first, was the way you have to descibe a single profession to describe yourself - however they did have a very long and diverse list of these professions.   This will put your proifle in a directory on the first page of this siteThis still comes up on some "top ten" lists of places for entrepreneurs to connect online, so I decided to give it a shot. The registration system is a little challenging, but that indicates it is a serious site.   What I didn't care for, at least at first, was the way you have to descibe a single profession to describe yourself - however they did have a very long and diverse list of these professions.   This will put your proifle in a directory on the first page of this site. Upon completing my registration, which required manually pasting an activation link, I was taken to a page that gave me three paid membership options, and no other choices.   The lowest priced memberships was $14 a month. Somehow I got out of that page - I think I hit the back button, and I apparently do have a account, but it is not public - you pay to have a public one.   This seems like mostly an SEO play - so far, I am not impressed, but I may give it more of a chance and come back to this page to update.

hub.startuprev.com — This is a new site called "Startup Reveloution" that is said to be modeled after the popular "Hacker News" website.  The business profiles aren't very sophistacted, and the functionality for connecting with other people seems to be limited, however they have a nice bulletin board and the social registration is simple and easy.
